Marbled and Heat Embossed cards tutorial

Materials:
marbling
  • shaving cream 
  • paint or food coloring 
  • 12x12 piece of card-stock or white cards 
  • ruler 
heat embossing
  • heat tool
  • gold embossing powder
  • black embossing pen
  • pencil

step 1: marbling 
Spray a layer of shaving cream on a plate.

Swirl some paint around in the shaving cream but don't overdo it.

Now press the card-stock or the card on the shaving cream. ​

step 5: marbling ​
Pull the card-stock off the shaving cream and scrape of the extra shaving cream with a ruler. (you can also use a paper towel to dab of some shaving cream)

Finish marbling the rest of the paper or cards with different colors.

If you started with a 12x12 piece of card-stock cut out the cards using scissors or a cricut machine. And let the paper dry.

step 1: heat embossing
Lightly write out a word on the card using a pencil.

step 2: heat embossing
​Go over the word with an embossing pen.

step 3: heat embossing
Sprinkle gold embossing powder over the card and then shake it off so that only the word has embossing powder on it.

Use the heat tool to melt the embossing powder to the card.
